Road trip to Flinders Ranges

In about 2 weeks I will be heading off to the Flinders Ranges for a painting trip.
It has been on my wish list for many years and although I have done plenty of research I am not quite sure what to expect.
It is about 10 day's away to challenge myself and develop new work. I hoping to keep you up to date and eventually post plenty of pictures and new work on this blog.

Working with Charcoal

I have recently started drawing with charcoal and happy with the results so far. Using Charcoal pencil, charcoal dust, brushes, etc to create the feel and mood I am after. It's amazing how detailed you can work with charcoal.

I finally feel I am on a roll after struggling working out the medium for quite some time.

The caravan is based on an image from our trip to Denmark last year. 200mm x 150mm wide.
